Radfield launches industry-leading 20-day franchise training package

One of the UK’s top 100 franchise opportunities, Radfield Home Care has launched a new 20-day training course for its franchise partners joining the network.

With franchising providing a route to first time business ownership for many, Radfield recognised the need for a comprehensive training programme that ensures its franchise partners are well-versed in not just the healthcare sector, business model and operations, but also the day-to-day duties and tasks a business owner is responsible for.

Beginning with an introductory five-day induction course, franchise partners learn the core elements of Radfield’s operations; focussed on compliance, recruitment, client attraction, marketing and the basics of business ownership. An additional fifteen days of training are providing over the following weeks to fully embed softwares, onboard the franchise partner’s new registered care manager, develop digital marketing skills, review compliance and CQC expectations, and much more.

“By the end of the introductory training week, our franchise partners have the know-how required to operate a Radfield Home Care business with the guidance of our support team,”

explains franchisor and experienced GP, Dr Hannah MacKechnie.

“However, we have developed an extended training course to ensure that every aspect of operating a Radfield franchise business is reviewed in detail, allowing our franchise partners to have the full range of skills, understanding and know-how to develop sustainable home care businesses. Throughout their entire franchise journey all franchise partners have continued access to the support team for additional guidance, advice and training too – meaning as the model and industry evolves, Radfield franchises are always ahead of the curve.”

Radfield Home Care’s franchise partners specialise in providing care to older people in their own home, primarily within the private marketplace. With an ageing population and decreasing government funding for home care services, the Radfield model is perfectly positioned to support the increasing demand for privately funded out-of-hospital care services for older people.
