Introductory training week

We find that having several participants in a group session together helps you to learn from each other.

Sessions are bespoke and flexible to meet your individual needs. For example, you may have in-depth knowledge of finances and instead, want more focus on marketing. Or, you may need help with governance and compliance, so instead we focus on this.

We also ensure your training covers all the latest up-to-date industry information.

Your introductory five-day training week comprehensively covers:

  • Policies and processes
  • Sector background
  • Legislation
  • CQC registration, including mock interview practice
  • Operational training
  • Compliance and audit processes
  • Financial management
  • Running a business (writing a business plan and cash flow forecasting)
  • Marketing both for clients and for key members of staff


Ongoing training

Following your five days of initial training, a further 15 days of dedicated new franchise partner training  are provided troughout the first few weeks and months of your franchise, all at a time that suits your franchise lifecycle. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Sourcing the right premises
  • Interviewing and assessing your Registered Care Manager and core office staff
  • Shadowing established franchise partners
  • Core technology training
  • Compliance audits, reviews  and development
  • Business performance development

A key part of your franchise package are your manuals that cover everything you need to know about your new business (on loan for the term of the agreement). Our franchise partners will tell you that the manuals are an essential reference tool. To keep the content up-to-date, we provide digital copies that are version controlled.
